SPATIAL ART

FOR

INTENTIONAL ENVIRONMENTS

Artdesha Flux Nodes form a perceptual architecture structured through thirteen fundamental human intentions.

Positioned in dialogue with architecture and the declared orientation of the host environment, each Node functions as a visual emitter, inviting a specific human state into the space.

Through geometry, colour, proportion, and placement, the work operates as a spatial instrument, shaping perception, behaviour, and atmosphere within an environment.

Situated between art, psychology, and spatial design, Flux Nodes create environments that are meant to be experienced directly rather than intellectually explained.

MY NAME IS JOANNA MAREK

Joanna Marek

I am the creator of Artdesha Flux Node, an ongoing spatial art practice exploring how environments are felt, structured, and inhabited.

I collaborate with architects, curators, retreat spaces, and cultural venues to introduce calibrated spatial installations that influence atmosphere and visitor experience.

For many years, I have examined how light, proportion, material, sound, and placement influence human experience; shaping mood, behaviour, and relational presence. I do not experience rooms as neutral containers, but as dynamic contexts shaped by memory, use, and attention.

This sensitivity led me to develop the Thirteen Gates - a framework of intentional fields that guide how I observe and work with space.

Each Gate corresponds to a distinct spatial quality such as renewal, strength, contemplation, or release - that may be active within an environment.

I am drawn to work that moves rather than remains fixed, work that enters a space temporarily, leaves a trace, and continues elsewhere.

This understanding informs my decision to create Nodes that circulate and are hosted rather than owned.

My practice bridges analytical structure and intuitive perception. It is grounded in close observation of architectural form, human behaviour, and atmospheric dynamics.

Artdesha Flux Node is my long-term commitment to developing a calibrated spatial system; one that listens before it intervenes.
